Crystal Lagoons is strengthening its presence in the hotel industry with its inaugural project in a Central US location at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio, Texas.
The two-acre lagoon project is expected to be finished and opened by the fourth quarter of 2025. It forms a key element of a large-scale redevelopment project and is a partnership between Crystal Lagoons and Dallas-based Woodbine Development.

Since the resort’s inauguration in 1993, Woodbine has invested in various upgrades, including renovating guest rooms, enhancing meeting spaces, and adding new dining options such as the Woodbine Bar.
The project also features five independent villas, each with private patios and fire pits, along with a 5,600ft² meeting venue.
Crystal Lagoons stated that the new venue will feature its technology and complement existing amenities, including pools, a water slide, hiking trails, a spa, a fitness centre, and a 27-hole golf course.
Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa general manager Steven Smith said: “We are excited to further enhance the guest experience at our premier San Antonio resort with the addition of the Crystal Lagoons amenity.
