The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 50.85% in September 2021 when compared with August 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 12.82% share in the company’s total hiring activity in September 2021, and recorded a 6.76% growth over the last three-month average share.

Computer and Information Research Scientists tops BCD Travel Services IT hiring in September 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by BCD Travel Services, Computer and Information Research Scientists emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 85.11% in September 2021, and a flat growth over August 2021, while Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers claimed a share of 10.64% in September 2021, and registered a decline of 89.01%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 3.19% in September 2021, a 200% rise from August 2021.

North America drives IT hiring at BCD Travel Services

North America emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in September 2021 with a 96.81% share, which marked a 63.75% drop over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 3.19%, registering a 40% month-on-month decline.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 95.74% share in September 2021, a 64% decline over August 2021. Mexico featured next with a 1.06% share, flat growth over the previous month.

Junior Level jobs lead BCD Travel Services IT hiring activity in September 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 93.62%, down by 65.22% from August 2021. Mid Level positions with a 3.19% share, a growth of 50% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 3.19% share, up 200% over August 2021.
