The industry’s overall hiring increased by 7.33% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.
Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 19.97% share in August 2022, recording an increase of 2.95% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Denmark’s travel & tourism industry’s IT recruitment activity in August 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Denmark’s travel & tourism industry in August 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 60.53% in August 2022, registering a 27.78% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 23.68% share, an increase of 28.57% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 15.79%, registering a 50% rise from July 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Denmark’s travel & tourism industry during August 2022 over July 2022.
A.P. Moller – Maersk posted 36 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered a rise of 38.46% over the previous month, followed by Capital A with 1 job and a flat growth. Copenhagen Airports with 1 IT jobs, recorded a flat growth.
Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 55.26%, down by 8.7% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 44.74% share, registered an increase of 240% compared with the previous month.
