The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 4.6% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Deutsche Lufthansa IT hiring in August 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Deutsche Lufthansa, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 38.89% in August 2022, and a 58.21% drop over July 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 22.22% in August 2022, and registered a decline of 20%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 18.06% in August 2022, a 13.33% drop from July 2022.

North America stood next with 5.56%, registering a 20% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 4.17% share and a 25% drop over July 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.39% and a month-on-month flat growth.
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 59.72% share in August 2022, a 51.14% decline over July 2022. Poland featured next with a 15.28% share, down 26.67% over the previous month.
Junior Level jobs lead Deutsche Lufthansa IT hiring activity in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.11%, down by 48.84% from July 2022. Entry Level positions with a 19.44% share, a decline of 53.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 13.89% share, down 37.5% over July 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 5.56%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
