Europe drives IT hiring at TripAdvisor

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in July 2022 with a 71.79% share, which marked a 75% rise over the previous month.

North America stood next with 20.51%, registering a 33.33% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 7.69% share and a 200% rise over June 2022.

Portugal commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 41.03% share in July 2022, a 128.57% growth over June 2022. US featured next with a 20.51% share, down 33.33% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 20.51% share, an increase of 33.33% compared with June 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead TripAdvisor IT hiring activity in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 87.18%, up by 41.67% from June 2022. Entry Level positions with a 7.69% share, a flat growth compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 5.13% share, down 66.67% over June 2022.
