The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 6.88% in May 2022 when compared with April 2022.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Uber Technologies IT hiring in May 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Uber Technologies, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 72.73% in May 2022, and a 67.44% rise over April 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 8.08% in May 2022, and registered a decline of 5.88%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 6.57% in May 2022, a 225% rise from April 2022.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 36.36%, registering a 132.26% month-on-month growth. Middle East & Africa was the third leading region with a 9.09% share and a 100% rise over April 2022.
In the fourth place was Europe with a share of 7.58% and a month-on-month increase of 200%. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 6.06%, registering a flat growth over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 37.37% share in May 2022, a 64.44% growth over April 2022. India featured next with a 24.75% share, up 113.04% over the previous month. Pakistan recorded an 8.08% share, an increase of 220% compared with April 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Uber Technologies IT hiring activity in May 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 71.72%, up by 69.05% from April 2022. Entry Level positions with a 14.65% share, a growth of 480% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 13.64% share, up 17.39% over April 2022.
