Marsa Malaz Kempinski

Alfardan Hospitality has partnered with Kempinski Hotels to expand its hospitality portfolio in Qatar with the development of a new hotel, Marsa Malaz Kempinski – The Pearl, Doha.

Marsa Malaz Kempinski – The Pearl, Doha will overlook The Pearl, Qatar and the Arabian Gulf and will be a waterfront hotel destination in the region.

Slated to open in the last quarter of 2014, the new hotel will be a private island development spread across 500,000ft² and will offer five-star luxury service.

The new Marsa Malaz Kempinski is the second project to be developed by Alfardan Hospitality in partnership with the international hospitality group Kempinski Hotels.

The hotel will be surrounded by water and will feature extravagant interiors and exteriors, and personalised service; the property is designed to appeal to both business and leisure guests.

Marsa Malaz Kempinski is part of the Qatar Tourism Authority’s strategy to position Qatar as ‘a world-class hub with deep cultural roots’, inspired by the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the National Development Strategy 2011-2016 for the country’s growth in the tourism sector.

Alfardan Group president and CEO Omar Alfardan said that Marsa Malaz Kempinski – The Pearl, Doha will establish itself as an iconic waterfront destination, enhancing the international reputation of Qatar as a fast-emerging luxury tourist destination.

"Our promise to deliver unique properties famous for quality, luxury and excellence has been known throughout our venture into hospitality developments, as we aim to create unforgettable destinations and exceptional experiences for residents and visitors of Qatar," Alfardan added.

Alfardan Hospitality has previously worked in collaboration with Kempinski Hotels for the development and management of the Kempinski Residences and Suites, which is said to be Doha’s tallest hotel tower.
