Hilton Worldwide has added a new property to its DoubleTree by Hilton portfolio with the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Norfolk Airport at Hampton Roads in Virginia, US.
The new 250-room hotel is situated around two miles from Norfolk International Airport, between Williamsburg and the Virginia Beach oceanfront, and is close to Norfolk Botanical Gardens, Virginia Zoological Park, and Naval Station Norfolk.
The former Hilton Norfolk Airport hotel was renovated to launch the new property, which will be part of the Hilton Worldwide portfolio and will be owned and managed by Harmony Hospitality.
DoubleTree by Hilton Norfolk Airport features a re-designed entrance, lobby with wood and marble accents and an industrial art chandelier in every guest room and suite.
DoubleTree by Hilton global head John Greenleaf said that Hampton Roads is a bustling region, and the hotel is poised to offer business, military and leisure guests a premier travel experience.

DoubleTree by Hilton Norfolk Airport, which is the third DoubleTree by Hilton property serving the Hampton Roads region, is adjacent to Lake Wright Business Park, home to several Fortune 500 companies including General Electric, Lockheed Martin, IBM and Northrop Grumman.
