Accor has signed the new project, Sofitel Sapa Hotel & Residences, which is set to open in 2030 and bring Sofitel’s luxury brand to northern Vietnam.
This addition expands Sofitel’s presence in Southeast Asia, featuring a combination of 176 hotel rooms and 436 residences.
The project is a collaboration with Alphanam Group, a private multi-industry corporation based in Vietnam.
Sofitel Sapa Hotel & Residences will feature French-inspired interiors, local artistry, and a range of amenities, including a Sofitel Spa, fitness centre, and a heated swimming pool.
The property has dining venues that fuse French gastronomy and locally sourced ingredients.
In alignment with Accor’s sustainability efforts, the development will incorporate eco-friendly practices such as waste reduction programmes, energy-efficient systems, and the utilisation of local materials.

We look forward to working with Alphanam to further expand our portfolio in Sapa and across Vietnam.”
The development will join Sofitel Saigon Plaza and Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi.
