Accor’s upscale hotel brand Pullman Hotels & Resorts will return to Zhoushan, China, with the rebranded Pullman Zhoushan Seaside.
Slated to reopen by March 2025, the hotel will offer views of the East China Sea.
This move is part of Accor’s strategy to strengthen its connection with key urban communities across Greater China and cater to the needs of both business and leisure travellers.
Accor Greater China CEO Gary Rosen said: “We are excited to bring Pullman back to Zhoushan, allowing us to deliver the distinctive brand experience that guests have come to know and appreciate while supporting this growing cosmopolitan city with a bold, innovative, and modern approach to hospitality.
“Accor is renowned for its unrivalled portfolio of global hospitality brands and Pullman is a popular choice for partners in Greater China, given its ease of transition, premium brand standards, and global recognition. The presence of Pullman in Zhoushan enhances the city’s appeal as an important tourism destination and supports its economic growth through premium hospitality and services for both locals and visitors to enjoy.”
Formally known as Pullman Zhoushan Seaview, the Pullman Zhoushan Seaside will feature 253 rooms with sea views. Dining options and facilities at the hotel will include an all-day restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, a lobby bar, and an executive lounge.
For events, there will be an 880m² column-free ballroom, meeting rooms with sea views, and outdoor spaces suitable for weddings and gatherings.
Recreational amenities will include Zhoushan’s first rooftop pool, a fitness centre, a spa, and a games room.
The brand has expanded in the region with the 2024 openings of Pullman Taizhou Xianju and Pullman Renhuai Chuangmeng, and Pullman Chongqing North Station expected this year.
Additionally, Accor has launched its “enhanced” Travel Pros Leisure Groups online platform, offering a wide selection of hotel brands and room types for leisure B2B clients.
The platform supports instant bookings and request for proposal (RFP) processes, with over 1,300 hotels available for instant booking and more than 700 properties for RFP, promising hotel confirmation within 24 hours.
