Avion Hospitality has taken over the management of two Hyatt Hotels in Charleston, South Carolina, US, marking a strategic move in the hospitality sector.
The Hyatt House Charleston Historic District hotel with 113 rooms and the Hyatt Place Charleston Historic District hotel with 191 rooms are now under Avion’s management.
This development follows the acquisition of these properties by Highline Hospitality Partners.
Highline Hospitality Partners, known for investing in full and select-service hotels across the US, plans to transform one of the properties into a boutique Hyatt brand.
Highline Hospitality Partners managing partner Chuck Pomerantz said: “Avion has proven to be a strong operator for Highline, and we are confident in their ability to execute this business plan, as well.”
The hotels are strategically located near South Carolina’s beaches and the historic downtown district, offering guests access to a shared rooftop bar and more than 8,000ft² of event space.
