Integrated hospitality technology provider Cendyn has enhanced its business intelligence offerings by incorporating AI into its analytics platforms.

The move aims to provide hotels with more intelligent data and commercially relevant insights.

The company embedded AI within its customer relationship management (CRM) and Knowland platforms, facilitating quick access to actionable insights for hotel sales and marketing teams.

According to Cendyn, this reduces the reliance on manually handling spreadsheets and complex reports.

With the introduction of CRM Analytics, the company is transforming the landscape of data insights available for hotel customer relationship management.

The use of AI to generate insights and analyse data enables hotels to quickly tap into real-time guest behaviour information, thereby improving marketing strategies and identifying key business drivers with greater accuracy.

The AI-driven smart narratives offer a concise summary of data, helping hotels easily discern trends from intricate datasets and take prompt action.

Cendyn unveiled an AI search feature within the platform following the acquisition of Knowland in October 2024.

This feature is designed to mirror consumer search behaviours, allowing hoteliers to input queries in a natural language format similar to conventional search engines.

As a result, hoteliers can swiftly obtain insights and identify potential business opportunities, thus improving their competitive edge in the market.

Concurrent with this development, Cendyn announced the expansion of Knowland’s reach beyond its existing markets in the US, Middle East, and APAC into Europe, starting with London.

This expansion will enable hotels and venues to utilise the platform’s data-driven insights to boost revenue in the MICE sector.

Cendyn chief product officer Chris Egan said: “We strongly believe that leveraging tools like AI across our suite of solutions will enable our customers to do their jobs more effectively and provide significant time savings. AI analysis is giving visibility to aspects of our customer’s performance that may otherwise be overlooked.

“By using long-form text for search queries and pulling tangible insights out of complex data charts, hoteliers can quickly get the precise information they need. This will help the industry move beyond static reports to dynamic, real-time intelligence that results in more direct bookings and increased revenue.”

Cendyn’s integration of AI into its suite of products offers the hotel sector a comprehensive set of solutions that empower hoteliers to attract new guests, increase direct bookings, and enhance revenue generation.

Last May, Cendyn partnered with Cloudbeds, a hospitality management software platform, to help hoteliers boost revenue.
