Hospitality management company Charlestowne Hotels has announced a management takeover of The H Hotel in the US state of Michigan, according to HospitalityNet.
Situated at the centre of Midland, the hotel marks the company’s first property in the state and seventh in the Midwest region.
The property is now a part of the company’s Midwest portfolio, joining the recently opened Hotel Verdant in Racine, Wisconsin and Deer Path Inn in Lake Forest, Illinois.
The company aims to maintain The H Hotel’s service standard as the hotel transitions from a Dolce by Wyndham to an independent property.
Charlestowne Hotels CEO Kyle Hughey said: “Our team has decades of experience managing lifestyle hotels and to work with a property that’s transitioning to being independently run is especially exciting for us.
“The H Hotel is respected for its long-standing commitment to the community and as part of this transition, we’re working directly alongside ownership to elevate the existing character and charm of this iconic Midland property.”
