Choice Hotels International has signed franchise agreements with Lloyd Hospitality and MWA for the development of new Cambria hotels in Kansas City, Missouri, and Indianapolis.
Scheduled to open in 2021, these hotels will be the first Cambria in Missouri and the third hotel in Indiana.
The five-story, 148-room Cambria Indianapolis Downtown will be located at 850 South Meridian St, with access to Interstate 70 and Indianapolis International Airport.
Furthermore, the hotel will be located close to the headquarters of several companies including Eli Lilly and Company, the NCAA, Anthem, and Rolls Royce North America.
Two of the Midwest’s largest event venues, Lucas Oil Stadium and the Indiana Convention Center, will be within walking distance.
Situated at 205 W. 9th St., the six-story, 149-room Cambria Kansas City – Downtown will be located a few blocks from the city’s Power and Light District.

By GlobalDataOnce opened, the hotel’s location is expected to provide guests with easy access several popular restaurants and retail stores.
Furthermore, the property will be a short distance from the corporate headquarters of Cerner, DST Systems and Hallmark Cards.
This year, Choice Hotels opened seven hotels. Up to six more hotels with almost 1,000 rooms are expected to open in top-tier markets across the country before the end of this year.
