Choice Hotels International has unveiled its new next-generation prototype for its newbuild midscale Sleep Inn brand at its 67th Annual Convention held in Las Vegas, Nevada, US.
The prototype is scheduled to be completed and launched by the end of this year.
It will retain the Sleep Inn brand’s main hallmarks, including the signature exterior purple tower and nature-inspired design.
Choice Hotels vice-president of brand strategy Cathy Hartman said: “Midscale travellers want convenient, stylish accommodations without sacrificing value and access to modern amenities while on the road, which is why Sleep Inn has remained a guest favourite since we debuted the Designed to Dream prototype more than 13 years ago.
“This evolved look and feel stays true to the brand’s founding philosophy by taking inspiration from nature to help guests relax, recharge and reconnect with what matters most. We also look forward to delighting guests with a suite of new wellness offerings to elevate and differentiate their travel experience.”
Various new signature amenities will also be part of the new package. Among these new features include expanded wellness offerings such as fitness centres, airy lobbies with more natural light penetration and signature murals, as well as designated outdoor spaces.
