Lodging franchisor Choice Hotels International has expanded its Everhome Suites brand in the US with three new properties in Huntsville, Alabama; Chandler, Arizona; and Temecula, California.

The move signifies the brand’s focus on providing modern, apartment-style accommodations for long-term travellers.

Choice Hotels Extended Stay Brands lead and vice president Matt McElhare said: “Our recent openings in top markets like Huntsville, Chandler, and Temecula reinforce our first mover advantage in the segment and the value of our proven extended stay support system to developers and operators.”

Choice Hotels currently has ten Everhome Suites operating across the country, with plans to reach 25 by year’s end and 20 more under construction.

Choice Hotels’ extended stay development senior vice president Ron Burgett said: “For the combined economy and midscale extended stay segments, our brands, including Everhome Suites, represent about half of all hotels that opened in 2024 or are currently under construction.” 

Everhome Suites Huntsville offers 98 rooms and access to local attractions and business hubs. Developed by EHS Huntsville, the site was designed and constructed by Woolpert and Integrated Construction, respectively.

The 114-room Everhome Suites Chandler caters to guests seeking proximity to parks, golf courses, and technology centres.

It was developed by ServiceStar Capital Management & Genesis Companies, with 101 Architecture handling the design and PATH Construction overseeing the construction.

The 117-room Everhome Suites Temecula is positioned for visitors to access the region’s wineries and historic Old Town district. It was developed and is owned by Paladin Equity Capital while Woolpert Architects provided the design and Buffalo Construction managed the construction.

Each Everhome Suites property offers an equipped kitchen in every room, spa-style bathrooms, closet space, and storage. Several locations also offer premium one-bedroom suites with in-room washers and dryers.

Guests can access contemporary communal spaces, outdoor amenities, and 24/7 access to fitness and laundry facilities.

The brand’s Homebase Market provides a self-serve option for food, beverages, and groceries around the clock.

Choice Hotels supports its extended stay brands with tools and resources, including Choice Maps, which utilises AI to identify high-demand markets and sites.

The company also provides dedicated extended stay sales, revenue management, marketing, and brand development and operations teams to assist owners.

With a franchise-first approach, Choice Hotels features cloud-based solutions such as the choiceEDGE, a platform for guest reservation and the choiceADVANTAGE, a system property management.

These technologies aid owners in managing room rates, distribution channels, and inventory efficiently.

In December 2024, Choice Hotels unveiled the ground-breaking of an Everhome Suites property in Clarksville, Tennessee, and the launch of two additional properties in Fayetteville, North Carolina; and Cheyenne, Wyoming.
