Specialist business property adviser Christie & Co has facilitated the sale of Haselbury Mill, a hotel and venue in Somerset, UK, for an undisclosed amount.

Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.

The property includes three Grade II listed buildings, including the Tithe Barn, set amid 13 acres of grounds with a lake and a flowing river. The Tithe Barn can host weddings and accommodate up to 200 people.

The property’s proximity to Crewkerne and accessibility from the A303 dual carriageway enhance its appeal as a central location for exploring the area, stated Christie & Co.

Haselbury Mill has been extensively renovated, maintaining many original features, and is used for weddings, events, and conferences.

Christie & Co director Stephen Champion said: “We are delighted to have brokered the sale of this wonderful business to a private buyer, and we wish the new owners every success with their new venture.”

Known for its historic charm and idyllic setting, the property lies on the edge of Haselbury Plucknett, with its properties made from locally quarried Ham Hill stone.

The onsite Lakeside restaurant and Windy Miller’s Pub offer food and drink.

The mill owner’s house and adjacent cottages have been converted into a 21-bedroom hotel for both overnight guests and day visitors.

The original Mill buildings house a restaurant and a traditional local bar, complete with flagstone floors and oak-panelled walls.
