Dubai Investments has said that the construction of a hotel in Mirdif is on course despite the impact of Covid-19 pandemic.

The four-star hotel is being built as part of the Mirdif Hills project, a mixed-used scheme conceived to strengthen the commercial landscape in the region.

Once complete, the four-star Millennium & Copthorne Hotels and Resorts will feature 116 hotel rooms and 128 serviced apartments.

The location will also comprise a gym, swimming pool, fitness area and meeting spaces.

Overall, Mirdif Hills project also involves building a hotel, freehold office spaces and open retail spaces within the Al Multaqa Avenue.

The project is located adjacent to Mushrif Park and in proximity to Dubai International Airport and leading business districts.

It is Dubai Investments’ first freehold mixed-use development in Mirdif through its subsidiary Dubai Investments Real Estate Company (DIRC).

DIRC general manager Obaid Al Salami said: “We conceptualised Al Multaqa Avenue to be the commercial hub within the Mirdif Hills project where the residents could benefit from the true essence of living within a mixed-use development.

“The commercial offerings within Al Multaqa will mark the onset of a new experience for residents and shoppers not only within Mirdif Hills but also within the Mirdif area.”

However, the company did not provide any details on when the project will be completed.
