Hospitality management and hotel development company Continent Worldwide Hotels has announced it will upgrade the existing Al Ertiqaa Hotel Jeddah in Saudi Arabia and rename it as the Continent Al Ertiqaa Hotel, Jeddah.
Founded in 2003, Continent Worldwide Hotels has six hotel franchise brands.
The company has entered a management agreement with Bin Daajam Hotel Company to operate the Al Ertiqaa Hotel Jeddah.
The property is located in the Hera Street district, 13 minutes away from King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah and will be operated as a full-service hotel.
Continent Arabia principal and MENA managing director Shady Boueiry said: “This is the second agreement signed with Bin Daajam Hotel Company, as the Riyadh property is already being operated as the Continent Al Waha Hotel since December 2022.
“It is the proof of trust in our brands and services provided to our stakeholders in the region.”

By GlobalDataThe hotel will feature 80 rooms along with dining venues. Each room will come with a mini-kitchen and a dressing room. Amenities inside the room will include a TV, Wi-Fi, a minibar fridge a microwave oven, coffee/tea makers, and kitchenware.
The bathrooms will be installed with a bidet, a sink, and a roll-in shower.
The Continent Al Ertiqaa Hotel, Jeddah will also house a fine dining restaurant, named People, and also include the Aromas Coffee Shop.

The company is planning to open six more Continent Hotel branded properties this year in Dubai, Beirut and Saudi Arabia. It currently has three properties in operation in Saudi Arabia. SHS, an independent Lebanese hospitality company, holds the exclusive master franchise rights of the Continent Hotels & Resorts brand in the region.
