Crescent Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Elie Khoury as its new chief operating officer (COO).

With a career that spans over three decades in the hospitality sector, Khoury will lead strategic developments at Crescent, in line with the company’s focus on innovation.

His tenure at Interstate Hotels & Resorts saw him collaborate with several current Crescent leaders, fulfilling various general manager roles and managing complex hotels across different states and brands.

He also works as the chairman of the board of the largest state hotel association in the US Texas Hotel & Lodging Association, and participates actively on the hospitality board at California State University, East Bay.

Crescent Hotels & Resorts operates more than 120 properties across the US and Canada and is approved to manage upper-upscale and luxury hotels affiliated with Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt.

In August 2024, Crescent Hotels & Resorts appointed Vanessa Claspill as its new chief commercial officer to spearhead the commercial division.

Crescent said Claspill’s appointment, along with Dawn Gallagher’s promotion as president of hospitality, underscores its commitment to attract, promote and retain top talent.

Last December, Crescent Hotels & Resorts was appointed as the new management team for the St Anthony luxury hotel in San Antonio, Texas, US.
