Real estate company Dart has announced the strategic expansion of its hotel portfolio with the acquisition of Zemi Beach House Anguilla in Anguilla, a British Overseas Territory in the eastern Caribbean.
The property, previously owned by the Goldstein family of New York, has been operational since its opening in 2016.
Situated on a six-acre site along Shoal Bay on Anguilla’s north coast, Zemi Beach House serves as a boutique retreat featuring 77 rooms and other amenities.
Dart chief executive Mark Vandevelde said: “Anguilla shares characteristics that first drew Ken Dart to the Cayman Islands in the 1990s, and Zemi Beach House is emblematic of Anguilla’s strongly positioned luxury tourism market.
“We look forward to building upon the legacy of a fellow family-owned investment company and contributing further to the prosperity of the Anguillan community.”
The acquisition was commemorated with a reception at Zemi Beach House, attended by Dart executives, the Goldstein family, resort leadership, and guests from the Anguillan Government.

By GlobalDataFollowing its previous purchase of the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla in 2022, Dart stated that it has shown commitment to community engagement by supporting projects such as the new Landsome Bowl Cultural Centre.
This facility serves as a cultural hub for Anguillans and was officially dedicated in July 2024.
Additionally, staff at the Four Seasons have benefitted from cross-training opportunities with other properties within Dart’s hospitality network.
Anguilla Tourism Minister Haydn Hughes said: “Dart has proven to be a valued contributor to Anguilla’s tourism product, adding exceptional spaces for our visitors and exciting training and development opportunities for our Anguillan tourism professionals. We are excited for new enhancements and experiences that showcase our island home.”
Dart continues to explore avenues for further investment in community development and resilience initiatives.
Dart’s actions are led by the Kenneth B Dart Foundation, founded in 1984 by William A and Claire T Dart. The foundation has granted nearly $100m to support local causes.
The addition of Zemi Beach House to Dart’s collection aligns with its focus on high-end resorts, which includes properties such as the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla, The Ritz-Carlton in Grand Cayman, Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa in Grand Cayman, and Conrad Orlando at Evermore.
