Real estate investment trust company RLJ Lodging Trust has selected Davidson Hospitality to manage The Mills House Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina, US.
The hotel, also known as “The Pink Hotel”, is located in the centre of Charleston’s Historic District.

The new management will launch a renovation programme to reposition the hotel in the market.

The Mills House Hotel, which opened in the mid-19th century, was constructed by local grain merchant Otis Mills. It was demolished and replicated in 1968.

Davidson Hospitality will manage The Mills House Hotel under its lifestyle operating vertical, Pivot.

In addition to this hotel, Pivot’s portfolio in Charleston includes Hotel Bella Grace and The Ryder Hotel.
Davidson Hospitality manages a network of 67 existing hotels and resorts.
Earlier this year, the company was chosen by Three P Partners to manage Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Bellyard in Atlanta, Georgia, US.
