Hospitality executive Deepak Ohri has revealed his decision to step down as CEO of lebua Hotels and Resorts, the luxury brand he built and positioned as a leader in Southeast Asia.
Ohri will continue as CEO until the end of the year.
Under the leadership of Ohri, lebua has expanded to encompass five properties spanning India, Thailand and New Zealand.
The properties include Tower Club at lebua and lebua at State Tower in Bangkok, Lake Okareka Lodge by lebua in New Zealand, as well as lebua Lucknow and lebua Corbett in India.
lebua president Narawadee Bualert said: “We want to thank Deepak for his dedication and contributions to lebua.
“During his tenure, lebua became a leader in luxury hospitality thanks to his grit and natural instincts.

Ohri is already planning to launch a ‘hybrid’ hospitality brand in the US.
Ohri said: “It has been an honour to serve as lebua’s founder and CEO for the past 20 years. I am proud of what we have accomplished and could not have done it without the support of the entire team. I am excited for this next chapter.”
