The Destination by Hyatt brand is set to enter the South American market with The Legend Paracas Resort in Paracas, Peru.
Slated to join the brand in June 2024, the resort is undergoing a series of enhancements to upgrade its facilities and services, Hyatt Hotels Corporation and El Pardo Hospitality stated in a press release.
El Pardo Hospitality CEO Ricardo Bracale said: “We are very excited to join Hyatt’s Independent Collection and deliver the Destination by Hyatt brand promise in the charming town of Paracas, Peru.
“This next chapter will allow us to further elevate our value proposition and offer guests and World of Hyatt members an even more personalised and memorable experience that allows a sense of connection to the unique culture and community of Paracas.”
Situated in the Santo Domingo area, the Legend Paracas Resort is located between the Paracas Natural Reserve and the Pacific Ocean. It offers guests views of Paracas Bay and the surrounding desert hills.
Guestroom upgrades, the introduction of new culinary options, and redesigned public areas are part of the renovations.

It will have several amenities such as a fitness centre, an ocean-facing pool with a swim-up bar, a spa, and various activities, including kitesurfing and sandboarding.
Besides, it will have an on-site restaurant and bar serving locally inspired Peruvian cuisine and cocktails.
The Legend Paracas Resort will become the second Hyatt hotel in Peru, after Hyatt Centric San Isidro Lima, and the 15th Hyatt hotel in South America.
