DACH hotel company Dorint has entered a strategic partnership with IDeaS, a SAS division specialising in hospitality revenue management software and services, to enhance revenue management strategy and operational efficiency.

The adoption of IDeaS’ technology comes at a time when the German hospitality market is anticipated to grow at a CAGR of 7.7%.

The implementation of IDeaS’ G3 revenue management software (RMS) and Optix revenue intelligence solution represents a significant investment in technology for Dorint.

With more than 6,000 rooms across over 60 branded properties in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, this move is designed to maximise revenue and drive the company’s expansion plans.

Dorint revenue and distribution vice president Manuel Schmidgen: “As one of the most trusted hospitality brands in the region, it’s vital for us to stay ahead of the curve in this dynamic and growing market.

“Partnering with IDeaS provides us with the advanced technology and expertise we need to enhance our revenue management strategies, optimise operations, and capitalise on the significant growth opportunities within the DACH region. We are excited to leverage the power of G3 RMS and Optix to drive performance across our portfolio and ensure Dorint remains a leading hospitality brand in this thriving market.”

IDeaS’ G3 RMS offers advanced capabilities that will enable Dorint to make revenue-maximising decisions efficiently and effectively.

The integration of Optix will provide Dorint’s teams with data visualisation, reporting, and real-time performance insights, allowing for smarter, data-driven decisions that enhance profitability.

The benefits of implementing G3 RMS with Optix for Dorint properties include efficient revenue management through automation, advanced demand forecasting for optimising pricing strategies, and streamlined reporting for quick performance assessment, the company said.

This technology will support Dorint’s portfolio, which includes classic Dorint Hotels & Resorts, urban city properties under Essential by Dorint, and the luxury Hommage Hotels Collection.

IDeaS vice president Michael McCartan said: “We are incredibly excited to welcome the German hotel company Dorint to the IDeaS family. Dorint’s legacy of excellence in the DACH region combined with their ambitious growth plans presents an exciting opportunity for us to collaborate.

“Together, we will leverage the power of AI and data-driven insights to redefine revenue management and unlock new levels of success for Dorint in the evolving hospitality landscape.”
