Dusit Hotels and Resorts, a division of Thailand-based hotel and property development company Dusit International, is debuting in Nepal with the opening of two properties. 

The two properties, Dusit Princess Kathmandu and Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort Dhulikhel, will welcome guests on July 17 and July 24, respectively.

Located in the heart of Kathmandu’s Lazimpat neighbourhood, Dusit Princess Kathmandu has been designed to reflect the local culture and architecture.

It will feature 107 rooms ranging from 28m² to 62m², along with a 159m² Presidential Suite.

The hotel also includes Dusit Gourmet, offering delectable pastries and sandwiches, the speciality Thai restaurant Soi, along with the rooftop Kibu Sky Lounge with city views.

The Blue Bar on the rooftop features the highest infinity pool in the city.

Dusit Princess Kathmandu also provides versatile meeting spaces, including the rooftop venue called Vista, for weddings, corporate functions and special events.

The Princess Ballroom accommodates larger gatherings of up to 250 attendees, while Lumbini 1 and Lumbini 2 cater to meetings and small groups of 35 to 40 guests.

The Gallery offers an open space above the lobby for informal gatherings.

The Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort Dhulikhel, located in the Himalayan foothills between the Mahabharat range and Alpine highland ridge, features 54 guest rooms and suites, ranging from 47m² to 57m², as well as 18 exclusive villas spanning from 124m² to 247m².

It includes Devarana Wellness, which features a fitness and movement centre, an outdoor infinity pool and a Thai healing spa, along with dedicated spaces for activities such as yoga and meditation.

The Thaan Restaurant offers a diverse selection of Thai, Nepalese, Indian and Asian delicacies and the poolside bar Bela serves seasonal small plates, shisha and cocktails.

Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort Dhulikhel has a lawn and a grand ballroom that can accommodate up to 350 guests.

It also provides small meeting rooms for workshops, business conferences, training sessions, as well as other professional functions.
