Hospitality company Ennismore, in association with design-driven property developer Alfasi Group, has signed ‘The Hoxton’ branded hotel in Melbourne, Australia.
The hotel, which marks the brand’s debut in the region, will be located within the Matchworks Precinct located at 560 Church Street, Cremorne.
Expected to open in 2027, the hotel will have 198 guest rooms across its signature categories – Cosy, Roomy, and Biggy.
Reflecting The Hoxton’s distinctive style, the Melbourne property will offer open-door lobbies and feature local art.
Its interiors will draw inspiration from the building’s history and the local community.
The hotel will offer three food and beverage outlets, comprising an all-day dining destination, bar, café, and a signature restaurant.

The Hoxton brand currently operates 16 hotels worldwide, with recent openings in Berlin, Brussels, Amsterdam, and Vienna.
Upcoming locations include Edinburgh, Florence, and the brand’s first Scandinavian property in Oslo.
This new signing in Melbourne adds to Ennismore’s expanding pipeline in Australia, which includes projects such as Mondrian Hotel and Residences Gold Coast, Hyde Perth.
