ENVI Lodges has forged a strategic alliance with Blue Ocean Capital France (BOCF) to develop four sustainable ecolodges in France.
This collaboration is part of ENVI’s European expansion strategy, focusing on eco-friendly and experiential lodging in mountain, beach, and farm sites within the coming five years.
It will use a funding strategy that combines equity, debt, and government support for impact investments.
This move is set to capitalise on the growing ecotourism sector in the region.
It is expected to account for a 38% share of the global market by 2027, with France, Germany, and the UK making up half of that market.
ENVI Lodges, which offers low-impact alternative accommodations including lodges, tents, and biophilic pods, is claimed to adhere to sustainability standards.

By GlobalDataThe company’s approach is built on three pillars – wildlife protection, mindful use of natural resources, and support for local communities.
BOCF follows a ‘Business with Purpose’ philosophy and develops upscale hospitality projects that are environmentally and community conscious.
It launches such properties across Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America.
ENVI Lodges co-founder Chris Nader said: “We envisage that our four lodges will be developed in a circuit, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability by centralising resources and services and offering guests four completely different purpose-driven experiences inspired by their location.”
Blue Ocean Capital France president Walid Maalouf said: “Our partnership with ENVI Lodges, an eco-lodge pioneering operator, aims to showcase a new model for ecotourism success in France, based on a triple bottom line mindset: measuring and balancing social, environmental and economical results.”
The project aims to showcase sustainable destination development while meeting the increasing demand for mindful and meaningful leisure experiences.
This collaboration is expected to allow immersion in nature, community cohesion, and environmental stewardship.
The initial four-lodge circuit in France represents the first stage of ENVI’s finance and development collaboration with BOCF.
Phase two aims to extend developments across Europe, including in Spain, Italy, Portugal, and Greece.
