Fortune Hotels, part of the ITC hotel group, is set to open the Fortune Beachfront Puri hotel in India next month, as reported by the Economic Times.

This sea-facing property in Puri marks the upscale chain’s second venture in the state of Odisha.

Fortune Hotels managing director Samir MC said: “We are keen to expand our presence at cherished cultural and spiritual epicentres across India. Puri, with its unique blend of spirituality and leisure, aligns perfectly with our vision to offer enriching experiences to our guests.

Known for the sacred Jagannath temple and Puri Beach, the city is a pilgrimage destination and attracts a diverse range of visitors.

The Fortune Beachfront Puri Hotel will offer guests sea-facing rooms, diverse food and beverage options, a swimming pool, a spa, a well-equipped gym, and event spaces for weddings and other gatherings.

These facilities are scheduled to become available in stages following the hotel’s launch.

In addition to the Puri property, Fortune Hotels is expanding its presence in India with new properties in other states.

In August 2024, the hotel chain signed an operating agreement to inaugurate the Fortune Park Gorakhpur Hotel in Uttar Pradesh by October 2026.

This central city location will be Fortune Hotels’ seventh establishment in the state.

Furthermore, in July 2024, the company announced the launch of the Fortune Beach Resort ECR in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Positioned on the East Coast Road, this resort is located near the OMR IT Corridor and is a short drive from the airport and railway station.
