Hospitality company Four Seasons has taken over the operations of The Park Gstaad Hotel in Switzerland, with plans to reopen the property as The Park Gstaad, a Four Seasons Hotel, in time for the 2026-2027 winter season.
The hotel, which first opened its doors in 1910, is currently undergoing a renovation spearheaded by Squircle Capital and French interior designer Joseph Dirand, who aims to infuse contemporary elegance into the hotel while honouring its alpine heritage.
The property is owned by Dona Bertarelli, a noted philanthropist, investor, and sportswoman.
Bertarelli said: “We have found the ideal partners for a property that has been part of my personal journey in the region.
“As Gstaad’s first luxury hotel, The Park Gstaad holds a special place in the region’s heritage, and I am excited to unveil its transformation into a Four Seasons experience, where its legacy meets modern elegance for residents and visitors to enjoy.”
Upon completion of the renovation, Four Seasons will manage The Park Gstaad, which will boast 75 rooms and suites, including a selection of penthouse residences, which will be available for purchase.
