Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead, Georgia, US, has completed a comprehensive transformation to enhance the overall guest experience.
This multi-phased transformation, in collaboration with design company DLR Group and architectural business designONE studio, includes revamped accommodations and newly designed spaces for dining, socialising, and relaxing.
The final phase of the renovation introduces a redesigned arrival experience, involving a revamped lobby with marble floors and a relocated front desk.
Grand Hyatt Atlanta Buckhead general manager Kristi Cotten-Morris said: “This most recent transformation signals an exciting evolution for Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead.
“As we unveil this new chapter, we are committed to creating spaces that inspire and connect—places where our guests can seamlessly balance productivity, relaxation, and discovery. With an eye toward the future, this renovation reflects not only the vibrancy of Buckhead but also our vision for contemporary luxury.”
A newly opened lounge provides guests with cocktails and small plates while overlooking the hotel’s Japanese Zen Garden. The lounge’s design incorporates natural elements and an open-flow concept, centred around a semi-circular bar with contemporary finishes.
The hotel’s lower level now houses Cassis, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant offering daily breakfast and private dining experiences.
In February 2025, Cassis introduced “Le Petit Chef,” a dinner theatre experience with a five-course menu.
The Grand Hyatt Atlanta’s renovation extends to its event spaces, with over 42,000ft² of indoor and outdoor areas updated to accommodate events of all sizes.
The refreshed Grand Ballroom, new meeting rooms with modern amenities, and the re-envisioned West Terrace with a garden backdrop are designed to accommodate any gathering.
Earlier this month, Hyatt Hotels expanded its global presence with the opening of its first dual-branded project in Africa, in Nairobi’s Westlands district.
