Both hotels will offer their guests access to a private Social Club, which includes a pool, fitness centre, spa, coworking space, a library, and a boardroom.

This club will also provide two full-service dining options, two bars, a coffee and bakery shop, a conference centre with a 25,900ft² ballroom and additional meeting spaces spanning 10,800ft².

The two new hotels will provide easy access to local embassies, corporate offices, and entertainment venues.

Hilton’s expansion into Guyana through the dual-brand project strengthens the company’s presence in the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) region, where it presently operates more than 225 hotels.

With a development pipeline of more than 170 hotels, the company aims to enter eight new countries and territories in the coming years, including Bermuda and Paraguay this year, and Guyana in 2027.

Hilton Full-Service Brands global category head Gary Steffen said: “We are proud to bring the flagship Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand, which continues to set the standard for travel, and the renowned DoubleTree by Hilton tradition of warm welcomes and upscale comfort to Guyana.”
