Hilton has entered a partnership with Egypt-based company Mardev Developments to introduce the ‘Hilton Garden Inn Cairo New Zayed’, a new property in West Cairo.  

The hotel, which is part of a mixed-use development, aims to offer modern and affordable accommodation options on a site positioned near lifestyle and retail outlets. 

As per a press release by Zawya, the new property is set to open in 2028. 

Hilton Garden Inn Cairo New Zayed will be situated on a four-acre area within the Menorca Zayed project, a 40.5-acre development by Mardev Developments.  

It will include various villas and is expected to transform New Zayed into a significant urban destination.  

The hotel will be near to Sphinx International Airport and offer easy access to the historical landmarks of Cairo and Giza.

Mardev Developments has already received a licence to set up the hotel.  

The company is set to commence construction on the hotel by 2025, with Mohamed Hafez’s office handling design. Moharam Bakhoum will oversee implementation and construction. 

Mardev Development chairman Zohdy Zahran said: “We are excited to partner with Hilton to bring the Hilton Garden Inn brand to New Zayed and provide visitors with spacious modern rooms and thoughtful amenities. 

“Hilton has had a longstanding legacy in Egypt, and we are confident that this hotel will offer guests the renowned service the hospitality company is known for.” 

With sales reaching E£940m ($19.25m) since the beginning of the year, Mardev Developments is targeting E£600min the final quarter and is exploring expansion into coastal projects next year.  

Investment opportunities in the North Coast and Ain Sokhna are currently under consideration.  

Additionally, the company plans to offer hotel apartments within the Menorca Zayed project in the near future.
