Hilton has introduced the Signia brand to Africa with the signing of Signia by Hilton Cairo Skywalk and Signia by Hilton Residences Cairo Skywalk in Egypt.

Undertaken in partnership with Skywalk Developments, the hotel brand noted that the properties will provide “cosmopolitan” amenities and customised service along with meetings and events facilities.

They will also provide convenient access to Cairo and Giza’s historical and cultural attractions, including the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids.

Signia by Hilton Cairo Skywalk will feature 200 guest rooms and suites, complemented by various dining options such as an all-day dining restaurant, a speciality restaurant, a lobby bar, and a poolside bar and grill. It will also offer a fitness centre, a spa, and an outdoor pool.

Club Signia rooms and suites will offer personalised experience to guests with access to the Club Signia lounge, concierge services, and in-room amenities.

The hotel will also offer nearly 5,000m² of meeting spaces, including a ballroom and outdoor event lawn, catering to diverse events and gatherings.

Signia by Hilton Residences Cairo Skywalk will cater to long-term guests with 200 “modern” units, including one and two-bedroom apartments. Residents will gain access to the hotel’s dining venues and signature residential services, including a private lounge, pool, fitness centre, valet desk, and concierge.

This recent agreement comes after the brand’s expansion across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, highlighted by the launch of Signia by Hilton Amman in Jordan.

Hilton Middle East and Africa development vice president Carlos Khneisser said: “As we continue to diversify and expand Hilton’s presence in Egypt, we’re thrilled to introduce Signia by Hilton to one of West Cairo’s prestigious new destinations.

“With plans to grow our footprint to more than 40 properties across the country in the coming years, this debut and partnership with Skywalk Developments reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality and residential experiences in the region.”

Earlier this month, Hilton revealed that it is preparing to launch new establishments and unveil significant refurbishments worldwide, commencing in the second quarter.
