Global hospitality chain Hilton is set to debut its DoubleTree by Hilton brand in Saudi Arabia with a new hotel in Jeddah.
The hotel is owned by AlAhli REIT Fund (1), an investment fund managed by SNB Capital. Hilton had signed a management agreement with SNB Capital to operate the new hotel.
Set to open next year, the DoubleTree by Hilton Jeddah Al Andalus Mall is located on King Abdallah Road, near the upcoming Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital. The hotel is connected to the Al Andalus Mall and is 20 minutes away from the King Abdulaziz international airport.
Hilton Middle East and Africa development vice-president Carlos Khneisser said: “Saudi Arabia represents a significant opportunity for Hilton to grow its portfolio and, with the announcement of this DoubleTree by Hilton property in an exceptional location, we look forward to further expanding our full-service footprint across the country.
“Our partnership with the SNB Capital reaffirms Hilton’s desire to work with great partners and our strong commitment to the private sector.”
Prior to the planned opening, the hotel will undergo an extensive renovation programme covering areas such as guest rooms, restaurants and recreation facilities.
