UAE’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management has allowed hotels in Dubai to open private beaches.
However, public beaches, spas, pools, gyms, and fitness facilities will continue to stay closed until further notice.
In a move to ease restrictions on the movement of people in Dubai, the Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management has given its approval to several other initiatives too.
It has given approval to recreational activities in open spaces such as water sports, skydiving and cycling. It has also approved the recommencement of operations of water taxis and car-sharing services.
It has, however, restricted gatherings to up to five people, and made social distancing rules and wearing masks mandatory to contain the spread of coronavirus.
Before hotels are allowed to open, they have to undergo a thorough sterilisation process.
