A Hyatt affiliate and real estate development firm Grupo Murano have reached a management agreement for the first Andaz property in Mexico City.
Andaz Condesa Mexico City, a new luxury lifestyle hotel, is situated within the architecturally significant I421 mixed-use complex earlier known as the Conjunto Aristos.
Designed for international and domestic business and leisure guests, the hotel will boast 213 guestrooms and 20 suites, fitness centre, spa, and advanced meeting and event facilities.
The new property will feature four food and beverage venues and rooftop pools.
Hyatt Hotels development and real estate senior vice-president Camilo Bolaños said: “Andaz Condesa Mexico City will mark the Andaz brand’s entry into the influential and historic capital city, and as the demand in leisure travel continues to rise, we look forward to introducing a new luxury lifestyle offering to guests, World of Hyatt members and customers.
“This project allows us to thoughtfully expand Hyatt’s brand footprint in the region and create meaningful opportunities that fulfil the increased demand for luxury offerings in Mexico that cater to the high-end traveller and locals alike.”
