Hyatt Hotels has expanded its Hyatt Centric brand in India with the opening of Hyatt Centric Ballygunge Kolkata in West Bengal. 

This launch marks the seventh Hyatt Centric hotel in the country, joining properties in New Delhi, Goa, Mumbai, Dehradun, Bengaluru, and Chandigarh. 

Located in Kolkata, known as the City of Joy, the hotel marks a collaboration with Mukti Projects. 

It features 93 rooms and suites combining the city’s cultural richness and modern design. 

Hyatt Centric Ballygunge Kolkata is designed to offer a digital-forward lifestyle with contactless check-in, keyless entry, and in-room smart amenities.  

The hotel also includes Cal-On, a terrace garden craft brewery with curated mixology; YAYAvar, a regional Indian restaurant; and TESS, a Euro-Asian bistro.

The property offers the 3,045ft² Gallery ballroom, Studio I & II, and the Lounge for events and gatherings. These areas have audio-visual services and internet access. 

In addition, the hotel features leisure and wellness facilities such as an outdoor pool on the seventh floor, a spa, and a fitness centre.
