Hyatt Hotels, in collaboration with El Pardo Hospitality, has announced the opening of The Legend Paracas Resort on the Peruvian coast, marking the Destination by Hyatt brand’s entry in the region.

The new resort features 124 two-room suites, each with private balconies or terraces offering views of the ocean, gardens, or pool.

In addition, the suites comprise a communal living room and kitchenette, featuring a minibar, a microwave, coffee maker, and tea kettle.

The resort is situated between the Paracas Nature Reserve and the Pacific Ocean, approximately three hours south of Lima, providing guests with views of Paracas Bay and the surrounding desert hills.

The Legend Paracas Resort now features a refurbished reception desk and lobby.

It also includes a covered parking garage with electric vehicle chargers and a redesigned restaurant and bar that reflects the heritage of the Paracas culture.

The resort has three on-site culinary concepts, namely the signature restaurant and bar ‘Azul’, the beach-front venue ‘Rey de Las Olas Bar & Lounge’, and the Pool Side Bar that serves light bites and signature cocktails.

Additionally, Café Zokya at The Legend Paracas Resort offers a blend of Peruvian coffee, sourced from three different regions.

The resort has a spa, offering a range of services including massages and milk baths, while the fitness centre and ocean-view pool add to the leisure facilities.

It also has a multifunctional banquet space, which can house up to 300 people. In addition, the property has extensive gardens to host events for up to 1,200 people.

El Pardo Hospitality CEO Ricardo Bracale said: “This has been an exciting project for our team, and we are thrilled to officially open our doors to local Peruvians and global travellers alike and invite guests and World of Hyatt members to make this destination their own.”
