Hyatt Hotels has opened EPISODE Hsinchu, its first property within the JdV by Hyatt portfolio in Taiwan.
The hotel opening also marks the debut of the Hotel EPISODE brand in the country.
EPISODE Hsinchu boasts 140 rooms and suites, each featuring sleep kits and luxurious bathroom amenities among others.
The hotel’s newest culinary destination, Westwood, caters comfort food curated by Michelin-starred chef Richie Linz.
SOCIAL, the property’s communal space also offers all-day complimentary snacks, refreshments and a daily happy hour.
In addition, the space will host comedy shows, movie nights, live musical performances and DJ sets.

By GlobalDataEPISODE Hsinchu introduced self-check-in kiosks to streamline check-in process, while a dedicated team of experience providers replace the traditional front to provide personalised service for every guests.
In line with Hotel EPISODE brand’s commitment towards sustainability, all in-room bottled water for all guests is provided in reusable glass bottles, according to the company.
Hotel EPISODE brand creator and Riant Capital chairman Aaron Chan said: “Modern travellers have outgrown the one-size-fits-all business versus leisure mindset, and in response, we created the Hotel EPISODE brand for that community.
“Our guests can fuse a day’s worth of collaborative work with new encounters that not only energise them, but also make time for true rest.”
The hotel is conveniently located adjacent to the main freeway exit and is about an hour’s drive from Taipei and 40 minutes from Taoyuan International Airport.
It is located within a short drive from the Hsinchu Science Park, also known as the Silicon Valley of Taiwan.
Last week, Hyatt Hotels announced plans to debut its Inclusive Collection brand in Portugal with Dreams Madeira Resort Spa & Marina.
