Hyatt Abu Dhabi, Egypt and Jordan area vice president and hotel general manager Stuart Deeson said: “As we weave in the sights, sounds and tastes of the local Abu Dhabi culture, the opening of Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi marks a significant milestone for Hyatt, reinforcing its standing with visitors and residents of the city.
“The city’s abundant history and culture is reflected throughout the property, most notably in its artistic representation. Exemplified through thoughtful design and the addition of a permanent art collection, the property celebrates the spirit and culture of the United Arab Emirates.”
Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi, a 16-storey hotel resides within Capital Gate building, in floors 18 to 33. The design elements of the hotel are multilayered and include various textures and techniques that are inspired from the local culture to represent the country’s traditional elements as well as the modern facade of the city.

By GlobalDataUpon entering the hotel, guests can see four cultural symbols – Mashrabiya, which are intricate wooden window adornments; Khatt, poetic Islamic calligraphy; Al Sadu, traditionally woven fabrics; and date palm motifs.
The entrance features an array of creative masterpieces crafted by local artists. The ground floor is a dedicated art space for guests to explore and familiarise with the region.
Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi has 189 contemporary, luxurious guestrooms and suites designed for modern travelers. The floor-to-ceiling glassed windows offer sweeping views of the city.
The guest rooms offer the hotel’s bespoke bold and colorful line of Andaz Loungewear to evoke Arabian flair. Its restaurant 18 Degrees serves multi cuisine food. Additional features at the hotel include Rayana Spa, a suspended outdoor pool, pool bar and fitness centre.
