Global hospitality company Hyatt Hotels has opened its sixth Hyatt Regency branded hotel in Mexico as part of its strategy to grow its brands in the region.
Located in Colonia del Valle, the Hyatt Regency Mexico City Insurgentes is the second Hyatt Regency branded hotel in Mexico City, after Hyatt Regency Mexico City.
The Hyatt Regency Mexico City Insurgentes features 201 guestrooms and suites and caters to domestic and international travellers. It is situated within a mixed-use development complex on Insurgentes Sur Avenue, next to the World Trade Center Mexico City.
It is also located in close proximity to main business districts such as Reforma and Polanco.
The hotel offers gourmet dining options and meeting and events spaces, and it serves as a hub for business and leisure travellers in the south of Mexico City.
Francisco Medina, CEO of the hotel’s ownership group, Grupo Hotelero Santa Fe, said: “This new hotel represents a unique, new build project in the heart of the southern financial district of Mexico City, with 24 floors, three curated food and beverage outlets and contemporary guestrooms equipped for business and leisure travellers.

The interior decor is inspired by the La Marcha de la Humanidad mural on the facade of the historic Polyforum Siqueiros.
The rooms feature modern furnishings, multi-functional seating and work desk areas. Eight guestrooms and suites come with outdoor terraces overlooking the Del Valle neighbourhood.
Amenities include a 24-hour fitness centre and two spa rooms. The hotel additionally offers 4,628ft² of event space and seven multi-functional meeting rooms.
