The JdV By Hyatt brand has marked its debut in Europe with the opening of three new boutique hotels in Sweden.
The properties are Story Hotel Riddargatan and Story Hotel Signalfabriken in Stockholm, and Story Hotel Studio Malmö in Malmö.
Addition of these new hotels takes the total number of Hyatt properties in Sweden to four.
Located in downtown Stockholm, the 83-room Story Hotel Riddargatan is designed to attract both business and leisure travellers.
This hotel features a Bar & Lounge space and Ling Long restaurant focused on Southeast Asian cuisine.
Story Hotel Signalfabriken has 83 individual guestrooms and is located inside the listed Signalfabriken building. The hotel has in-house restaurant and bar.
Story Hotel Studio Malmö is located by the water at Universitetsholmen and has 95 guestrooms. It features Kasai in the Sky restaurant on the 14th floor serving Japanese cuisine.
Story Hotel Riddargatan and Story Hotel Signalfabriken general manager Alexander Hederstrom said: “We are truly passionate about the neighbourhoods in which our hotels are located – so much so that we ensured the design of each hotel was a true extension of its surroundings and authentically reflected the local culture.
“This is why we are so proud and excited to be joining JdV by Hyatt – a brand that truly recognises and celebrates the importance of local community.”
The JdV By Hyatt brand is already present in 15 US locations. It recently opened a new hotel in China.
