Hospitality company Hyatt has opened Thompson Savannah, its first Thompson hotel brand property in Georgia, the US.
The new property is a joint venture developed by Regent Partners, Mariner Group, and Cadre.
Located at the intersection of the city’s Historic District and Eastern Wharf, Thompson Savannah features 193 guestrooms including 21 suites.
Architectural firm Smallwood designed the guestroom tower so that guests have east-facing views of the river, the coastal islands and the Atlantic Ocean.
Designed by Dallas-based interior design firm Studio 11 Design, the hotel interior is inspired by Southern landscape.
Other guest amenities include 10,000ft2 dedicated event space comprising two meeting rooms, a boardroom, a separable ballroom and a poolside living room featuring exterior patio.
