Hyatt Hotels has further bolstered its portfolio with the addition of the Thompson Palm Springs along Palm Canyon Drive in California, US.
The property marks the inaugural collaboration between Hyatt and the HALL Group from Dallas.
It offers 168 bungalow-inspired guest rooms, including 18 suites, each with private balconies.
The guest rooms, ranging from king and double queen size to 1,750ft² Thompson Suite, have minibars, in-room coffee and tea selections, and other amenities.
Later this year, Thompson Palm Springs will debut Upper Stories, an exclusive adults-only tower that will include 42 guest rooms, five suites, and a private pool and lounge.
The property currently has a Levantine-inspired dining destination, Lola Rose Grand Mezze.

The hotel features a custom art collection curated by Shore Art Advisory and the architectural collaboration between SMS Architecture and B2 Design.
Thompson Palm Springs offers more than 20,000ft² for indoor and outdoor events.
From the 6,200ft² San Jacinto Ballroom to the 2,500ft² Lola Rose Terrace, the hotel’s team tailors each venue to suit a variety of occasions, accommodating gatherings of up to 600 guests.

The Thompson Palm Springs is located three miles from the Palm Springs International Airport and close to neighbouring cities.
This announcement follows Hyatt’s recent plans to introduce two new hotels in Jaumur, Saudi Arabia.
As of 30 June 2024, the company included more than 1,350 hotels and all-inclusive properties in 78 countries across six continents.
