IDILIQ Hotels & Resorts, a division of the IDILIQ Group, has adopted the IDeaS G3 revenue management system (RMS) from SAS company IDeaS for use across its luxury resorts in Spain.

This system will help automate revenue management and optimise pricing strategies across IDILIQ’s Spanish division, which operates five luxury resorts offering a total of 900 rooms.

It will replace the previous manual revenue management processes used across the properties, which utilised generic spreadsheet software.

The new system is designed to integrate seamlessly with the resorts’ central reservation system (CRS), streamlining operations for the commercial team and enhancing decision-making capabilities.

IDILIQ’s choice of the IDeaS system is said to have been driven by the former’s requirement for a solution that could be effectively managed by a centralised team while still providing access to sub-regional offices.

The implementation of IDeaS G3 RMS is set to give general managers greater control over the revenue management process, with less need for constant interaction with the revenue management team.

By automating discounting rules and eliminating the need for manual data entry, IDILIQ’s staff can now concentrate on strategic initiatives aimed at improving the guest experience.  

The system’s forecasting and pricing distribution capabilities are expected to provide valuable insights, reducing the risk of errors associated with manual data handling. 

Additional functionalities of the G3 RMS such as Additional Priceable Product features, empower managers to set criteria for rules-based automatic discounting.
