Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has strengthened its presence in Jammu and Kashmir by launching its second Ginger hotel in the region.
Situated in Barzulla, Ginger Srinagar offers easy access to the airport and local landmarks such as the Dal Lake, Shankaracharya Temple, Jama Masjid and Shalimar Bagh.
The 64-room hotel, designed to reflect the brand’s lean luxe philosophy, includes Qmin, an all-day diner that caters to business engagements and social gatherings.
IHCL’s portfolio in Jammu and Kashmir now comprises six hotels.

The upcoming Taj property will feature 225 guest rooms and suites, as well as multiple dining options, including an all-day diner, a speciality restaurant, and a bar.
IHCL’s global portfolio currently includes 340 hotels, which span across four continents, 13 countries, and more than 130 locations. Of these hotels, 112 are under development.
The company operates under various brands, including Taj, Vivanta, SeleQtions, Gateway, and Ginger.
