Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has opened a new SeleQtions branded property in Munnar, Kerela, India.
The new hotel, Scenic Munnar – IHCL SeleQtions, marks IHCL’s inaugural luxury property in the Idukki district of Kerala.
Located in the Western Ghats, the hotel features 55 rooms, including secluded villas with private plunge pools, all set against the backdrop of rolling hills and tea plantations.
Dining venues at the hotel include an all-day diner, named The Hub Kitchen, and a Tree Sky bar offering a range of cocktails and drinks.
The hotel also provides intimate banqueting spaces suitable for social gatherings.
Further enhancing the guest experience, Scenic Munnar – IHCL SeleQtions offers a range of amenities, including a spa, a swimming pool, and a gymnasium.

With the addition of this new SeleQtions branded hotel in Munnar, IHCL’s presence in Kerala has now grown to 20 hotels across its multiple brands, including SeleQtions; the company’s flagship brand Taj; upscale hotel brand Vivanta, and Ginger, a brand that caters to the lean luxe segment.
The company said it currently has six more hotels under development in Kerela.
IHCL’s broader portfolio encompasses 306 hotels globally including 89 under development, located across four different continents and 13 countries.

Earlier this year, IHCL collaborated with KM Vyapar to open a new SeleQtions branded property in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India.
