Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) is set to launch its first hotel in Kumbalgarh, in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
Following a major revamp, the property will be renamed as IHCL – SeleQtions and is expected to open early next year.
IHCL real estate and development executive vice-president Suma Venkatesh said: “The signing of this SeleQtions hotel at Kumbalgarh is yet another addition to IHCL’s extensive portfolio in Rajasthan.
“It will open a new circuit of Udaipur – Kumbhalgarh – Jodhpur, as also augment our pilgrim offerings being proximate to the Ranakpur Jain temple and the Srinathji Nathdwara temple.
“We are delighted to partner with Kumbalgarh Yatri Niwas Pvt. for this hotel.”
The hotel will feature 176 guest rooms and amenities, including a 14,000ft² banquet space, open-air venues, a spa, a swimming pool and a fitness centre.

By GlobalDataSpanning 11 acres, it is located near Lake Lakhela and offers views of the Aravali Hills. It is also within walking distance of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Kumbalgarh Fort.
The property will feature an all-day restaurant as well as a bar.

Including this expansion, IHCL now has 23 hotels in Rajasthan, encompassing Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta and Ginger, with nine more under construction.
