Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has further expanded its portfolio in India with the signing of a new Vivanta-branded hotel in Kochi, Kerala.
According to a press release published via Hospibuz, the hotel will be situated in the Aluva locality and will offer 95 rooms along with an all-day diner and bar.
Other amenities at the property include a swimming pool, a gym, banquet space spread across 4,500ft² of area and a spa.
The hotel is located within driving distance of the airport, providing guests access to several leisure spots.
Hotel Pearl Dunes will be working together with IHCL on this hotel project.
The company, also known as The Dunes Hotels, has multiple businesses, such as hypermarkets, textiles, automobiles, steel and shipping.

Hotel Pearl Dunes managing director KM Abdul Latheef added: “We are happy to work once again with IHCL, India’s hospitality leaders. This hotel will offer guests a flavour of the stylish Vivanta brand in Kochi.”
This addition will bring IHCL’s hotels across Kerala to 18 under the Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta and Ginger brands, with five more under development.
Currently, the company IHCL has 276 hotels worldwide, with 81 more under development across four continents, spanning 11 countries and more than 100 destinations.
Last week, IHCL launched its Ginger brand hotel at Mumbai Airport, in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
Earlier in the same week, the company announced plans to open a Taj property in West Bengal, India.
